In an interview with L’Équipe magazine, Habib Beye reviews his experience with Red Star.

Focus on Habib Beye’s career

After starting out with RC Strasbourg and then Olympique de Marseille, the former defender ended his professional soccer career in England with Newcastle United and then Doncaster.

After 14 years and more than 440 matches, Habib Beye decided to become a sports consultant for several media, notably Canal +. He appeared on a number of specialist programs, including L’équipe du Soir, l’After Foot and Radio Foot International.

It was only natural that the coaching project should begin. After passing his qualifications and gaining experience as an interim coach, he officially became the coach of Red Star Football Club. This national club based in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine will be promoted to Ligue 2 in April 2024. In fact, the federation awarded him the title of best coach of the season.

Today, Habib Beye talks about his desire for a change, and announces his desire to coach a Ligue 1 club.
